Liverpool
Legendary culture and one of England's best student scenes
Overview
Liverpool needs little introduction β the city that gave the world The Beatles, one of the Premier League's most famous clubs, and a UNESCO-listed waterfront. Home to the University of Liverpool (Russell Group), Liverpool John Moores University, and Liverpool Hope University, the city has a huge student population and a corresponding nightlife and cultural scene. Living costs are low by national standards, and Scousers are legendary for their friendliness and humour. The Albert Dock, Baltic Triangle, and city centre offer world-class dining, music, and arts.
