Student Neighbourhoods

The Queen's Quarter (around Queen's University) is the main student area — tree-lined streets, Victorian architecture, and plenty of cafés and pubs. The Cathedral Quarter has galleries, restaurants, and street art. Botanic is leafy and upmarket. Titanic Quarter is the regenerated docklands area with Titanic Belfast as the centrepiece.

Getting Around

Belfast has an efficient Metro bus network and Glider rapid transit service. Belfast Central and Lanyon Place stations connect to Dublin (2 hrs), Derry, and smaller towns. George Best Belfast City Airport is minutes from the city centre with UK domestic flights. Belfast International Airport has European connections. The city is compact and walkable.
